Obama's Victory--A British view
A victory for the hysterical Oprah Winfrey, the mad racist preacher Jeremiah Wright, the US mainstream media who abandoned any sense of objectivity long ago, Europeans who despise America largely because they depend on her, comics who claim to be dangerous and fearless but would not dare attack genuinely powerful special interest groups.
A victory for Obama-worshippers everywhere. A victory for the cult of the cult. A man who has done little with his life but has written about his achievements as if he had found the cure for cancer in between winning a marathon and building a nuclear reactor with his teeth. Victory for style over substance, hyperbole over history, rabble-raising over reality.
A victory for Hollywood , the most dysfunctional community in the world. Victory for Streisand, Spielberg, Soros, Moore, and Sarandon. Victory for those who prefer welfare to will and interference to independence.. For those who settle for group think and herd mentality rather than those who fight for individual initiative and the right to be out of step with meager political fashion.
Victory for a man who is no friend of freedom. He and his people have already stated that media has to be controlled so as to be balanced, without realizing the extraordinary irony within that statement. Like most liberal zealots, the Obama worshippers constantly speak of Fox and Limbaugh, when the vast bulk of television stations and newspapers are drastically liberal and anti-conservative. Senior Democrat Chuck Schumer said that just as pornography should be censored, so should talk radio. In other words, one of the few free and open means of popular expression may well be cornered and beaten by bullies who even in triumph cannot tolerate any criticism and opposition.
A victory for those who believe the state is better qualified to raise children than the family, for those who prefer teachers' unions to teaching and for those who are naively convinced that if the West is sufficiently weak towards its enemies, war and terror will dissolve as quickly as the tears on the face of a leftist celebrity.
A victory for social democracy even after most of Europe has come to the painful conclusion that social democracy leads to mediocrity, failure, unemployment, inflation, higher taxes and economic stagnation. A victory for intrusive lawyers, banal sentimentalists, social extremists and urban snobs.
Congratulations America ! Your funeral will be sooner than you think!

I have just read that the ridiculously absurd "stimulus bill" Congress has allowed to pass with virtually no Republican support has billions in PORK! Still politics as usual! Where is that "change" we heard about before the election?
The bill is being described as costing $787 billion, BUT the Congressional Budget Office reports the REAL amount is closer to $3.27 TRILLION ($3,270,000,000,000). The bill which was around 650 pages is now over1,000 pages. Few have actually read the entire thing in its entirety but it includes the following:
- Over $3 billion in “neighborhood stabilization” and Community Development Block Grant funding, much of which may go to benefit ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) which is under federal investigation for its suspicious voter registration practices.
- $1.3 billion to bailout AMTRAK, the railroad that seems to always operate in the red.
- $1 billion for "educational programs" including courses on STD's.
- $30 million for restoration of wetlands to be spent in the San Francisco Bay Area (this is Nancy Pelosi’s district). The money will go in part to protect the endangered salt marsh harvest mouse (Reithrodontomys Raviventris). What will the world come to if this mouse dies out??!! Oh my! We cannot use this money for American jobs, health care or other "less important" issues! Save the mouse!!! Geeeez!
- $200 million for a low-pollution, coal-fired power plant in President Barack Obama’s home state of Illinois (love that coal)!!
- $45 million for ATV four-wheeler trails and government office renovations. Oh but wait!....What about horse trails, paths for mountain skiers, or safe trails for the salt marsh harvest mouse??!!
- $200 million to provide computers to community colleges.
- $50 million for the National Endowment of the Arts.
- Over $650 million in coupons to help consumers buy digital TV converter-box coupons. Heaven forbid anyone be without access to the national media bias and dumbing down of Americans with insipid "reality television" programming! What would happen? People might...gasp!...Read a book... or worse...Exercise!!! Oh no! Then people would feel better and think clearer, need less pharmaceuticals and realize they are in a squirrel cage! we cannot have that happen!!!
- A reported $300 million for hybrid vehicles and electric-powered cars. According to the Washington Times, this item will include buying golf carts for federal workers. Of course we cannot let private industry accomplish this, we must put our tax dollars in it, but usually when you put your money into an investment, don't you expect a return on your money?
Sen. John McCain said: “This measure is not bipartisan. It contains much that is not stimulative.”

Obama has now officially put the lives of me, my family, friends and American neighbors in harms way. Without providing the proof that he is in fact a natural Born Citizen of the United States he has usurped the office of the POTUS. We are now a country without a President. Military personnel cannot take orders from a man that is not legally the Commander-in-Chief. We are more open to attack by other countries or terrorists than ever before. The loss of just one life while Obama has usurped this office is unacceptable and is in fact criminal. He should be arrested and brought before the courts to account for his actions before it is too late.
He has two choices; 1.) Comply with Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution which states: "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President;..." and provide his real American Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) with the state seal showing where he was born in Hawaii or; 2.) Step down now, admit he lied and let the Vice President legally take the office.
In all honesty, I would prefer the former over the latter and truly want to support him in his new venture, but I am doubtful he can (or will) with the evidence that has been uncovered thus far. It is not that hard for him to provide a COLB. I requested mine from the state and it has a Cert. number with the state seal embossed in the paper. At this time he knows if he is legally allowed to hold this office. Since he has failed to prove this, he has knowingly put a target on all of us. He is aiding and abetting in attacks against you and me. In any court, that act alone is criminal and should be prosecuted.

I understand that Obama has won the majority of the electoral votes and the democrats now control a majority of congress. The intensely biased media sold Obama to the public , and all the electoral sheep bought into it. It is interesting that in reality, slightly less than half of the ACTUAL votes so far supported McCain. So at least half of the American voters in this country could see through the BS that was being spread. I must say I feel very disappointed. Everything I work for will soon be "shared" amongst everyone else including the illegal aliens so we all have the same, no matter how hard I work.
Here are (a few of) the reasons Obama is unfit for the presidency:
He has extensive ties with terrorists!
He has proclaimed America's founding document to be "fundamentally flawed!"
He has threatened to bankrupt an industry that provides half this country's juice.
He promises to weaken America's military, empower the United Nations, boost the standing of the world's tyrants.
He is pushing an economic plan ripped from the pages of Karl Marx!
Denounces self-interest -- i.e., the lifeblood of a market economy -- as "selfishness."
He had a late-game revelation about an aunt who's an illegal alien enjoying public assistance, ignoring deportation orders, and making illegal campaign contributions to Obama.
Sure, America could use a change in focus, but that doesn't mean the most radical departure possible will somehow pay the biggest dividends. On the contrary. Everything Obama threatens to do will actually weaken America and her standing in the world. And to add to all that he has no pride in the American Flag and can not (or will not) prove his own birth records as an American Citizen. Click HERE! One day very soon, everyone will feel the results of the tragedy that has occurred on this day. Unlike 9/11 that immediately shocked us all, we will feel our country slowly disintegrate into oblivion. By the time Americans realize what has happened we will be like the frog in the pot that slowly rose to a boil and was cooked. Our days are now truly numbered.
Religious people talk about the End of Days and I always felt that was something to happen a very, very long time from now. Now it seems by 2012 we may actually see the end. There is nowhere else to go unless we head to India to find a job, so we must all sit and watch this play out. Most democrats will think this is sour grapes or "whining" but McCain was no picnic either. He was just not going to turn us into the socialist USSA. I also feel sad for all the people that felt race was an issue. It is unfortunate they could not see beyond color to look at the core beliefs and values of this person.
In many respects, I blame the current administration for making such a mess of things today. It can be said that the electoral votes are a reflection of a desire to get away from an administration that has very poorly managed our government. But I feel some blame myself for not educating more people about the facts regarding Obama, but I doubt it would have helped that much. It seems that if you make people feel warm and fuzzy, they will follow anyone especially a charismatic speaker. It is analogous to another brilliant marketing man, Bill Gates. His operating systems are everywhere and everyone buys into the sales pitch, but is there anyone that EVER used his products without a system crash, lockup, fatal error or “blue screen of death?” Sure it works, but at what price.
I fear the price we will pay now will be high indeed.

On the bright side, Obama could be a closet Republican just like Clinton........and most important, the election eliminated Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton and ALL Blacks from ever again crying discrimination at the hands of whites. They now see a black man as the leader of the free world. Blacks can never again claim they have no opportunity for achievment.
Obama has told blacks that he expects them to be responsible for their actions. We shall see what he does with his Dad's sister. He threw a lot of people under the bus on his way. Who and what Obama is will soon be known based upon his cabinet appointments and of course these are the people who will run the government.
arizonavolt has some interesting points. But Clinton was not a closet Republican. He and the Democrat congress ran things so poorly in the first two years of his Presidency the power changed to the GOP for the first real amount of time in 50 years.
From 1994-2000 or so the GOP congress balanced the budget by not spending wildly and cutting taxes. None of which Clinton wanted but he was driven by the polls and political power of the Contract with America and people's will. He wanted to be re-elected.
The congress forced him to change the welfare state and he knew his own re-election depended on him signing the welfare bill. When will people learn, congress runs the country, they hold the money and power. There needs to be a balance of power between congress and the executive branch.
Clinton signed but said he would be sure it was handled fairly after re-election IE: I sign but will not follow through or as little as a can. Pandering to his base supporters.
In about 2001 the GOP then began to change and spent like democrats, Bush did not veto the spending, his down fall. He likely did it for help with the war. Which is a other topic.
But they have all the marbles and had congress for two years before now, let us see how things are handled. So far I see little change, or across the isle reaching. We will give him time.
Will his be deeds he has shown in the past. Or will it be his speeches and promises. Hmmmm ...

If it does not matter that the US Constitution explicitly states that "No person except a natural born Citizen" shall become president, they why is it even there??! It must have been to fill space. Clearly Obama is unwilling to prove his citizenship except with fraudulent documents, BUT it sounds like who cares?! I guess in 2012 another Islamist will run for President, maybe the Al-Qaeda will take over after all!
Interesting note that so many people call Obama black when he is only half black. Why is everyone so quick to label him black? His mother is a white as they come from Kansas, but you will never hear him called white. Interesting spin on ethnic labeling.
Why has the media not reported on the fact Obama has never truly proven he is a natural born citizen?? This is not a conspiracy theory. The constitution clearly states that a Natural Born (American) citizen ONLY is allowed to take the office of POTUS. In response, the Obama camp posted a fraudulent certificate claiming it to be real. Although there are many reasons it can be found to be fake, the most obvious fact is his Fathers Race is listed as African. However, in United States in 1961 any person of color was referred to as Negro. The term African was not used. There are many other items that point to Obama not being qualified to take the office of POTUS, but it seems everyone just wants an idol or messiah to worship.
You would think with all of the inauguration frenzy it was the second coming of Christ. Hopefully, the cases before the Supreme Court (Hollister vs. Barry Soetoro a/k/a Obama Docket # 08-02254 (JR) and Berg vs. Obama Docket # 08–570 will be heard before the inauguration is allowed to happen. Otherwise, we will have the first POTUS that took the office illegally and without regard to US Constitution. Although, I am sure since he had the money to buy the media and the election, he can buy the Supreme Court decisions.
Are Americans that excited to see our country do away with the very Constitution on which it was built? Will they enjoy their right to free speech being taken way or their guns made illegal? Are the people in this country that excited about turning our country into the USSA? Until we slow down and stop making knee jerk reactions to the existing administration we are quickly destroying what is left of this beautiful country. Our founding fathers established basic principles that we have lived with for over 200 years. If we toss them away, we will no longer be the great nation we once were. Obama should step up and provide proof of his birth then get busy to lead this country. I desperately want to believe in and respect our new President. I do not envy the office, but everyone should know the person placed there is legally serving in that position. The media should be ashamed for not pursuing the truth.
It is official! We are now a country without a President. This may be the end of an era but it is the beginning of an error. I only hope we can survive this national tragedy. We are now more vulnerable to other countries than ever before. Let us hope Obama will come to his senses before it is too late and either prove his citizenship or step aside and let a natural born citizen legally take the office of the POTUS.
